Hi Antlibbers! Nice to meet you.

Hi everyone! Here is the deal with me. Back in the early 80s I was a huge Culture Club fan. At the same time Adam Ant's videos were in constant rotation on Mtv. Of course, I loved all of Adam's videos, even if my concentrated devotion was on another group. His music always made me happy and want to dance. Fast forwarding to now, nearly 30 years later, I have been painting a series of 80s icons and have rediscovered Adam Ant! As someone who had missed the earlier stuff the first time around, I think his music (Kings of the Wild Frontier and Dog Eat Dog) sound incredibly fresh and new. Now he is in high rotation on my computer and in my car stereo. =)

Now, having this renewed interest, I checked out the footage of his show at the Scala. Now I want to hear more. I hope he feels like he can do this all on his own timeline, so he doesn't feel too much of the pressure that is so difficult for him.

I am glad that my renewed interest coincides with his return to music. Weirdly enough, that sort of thing happens to me a lot. I think I'm the only one doing something and it turns out that everyone is thinking the same thing.
